Listen to the display’s show music on 93.7 FM
We always encourage people to get out of their vehicles to see all the display has to offer. However, sometimes that’s not possible for what ever reason. Many times people would rather see it from down the block to get a “big picture” of the display. Perhaps inclement weather or time keeps them from getting out. Either way, we are happy to have added a new feature to the show that will accommodate everyone! An FM transmitter will now broadcast the music right to your car stereo. All you have to do is tune in, sit back and enjoy the show.
And, for those of you that decide to exit your vehicle and see the action up close, don’t worry...Outside music will still play for you! Either way you won’t miss a beat!
This year you’re in for a real treat! As in years past, we have again the Stars of the North Pole in a presentation we call “BELIEVE IN THE MAGIC” and this years show promises to be bigger and more cinematic than ever before with more headliners, lights and special effects.

In the meantime, whether this is your fist time visiting us on-line or if you’re returning, welcome and thank you for stopping by “ThatHolidayHouse.com”, the home of Christmas and Halloween at the Hodgson’s –This is the official site of the annual lighting displays of Jess, Jaime, Tayler, Colin and our neighbor Russ! We are located in Firestone, Colorado.
As you know, this is the season for sharing dreams and memories with friends and family. We have dedicated our display to the Fantasies, dreams and ideas of the Christmas season.
For over 9 years now we have been sharing the magic of the holidays with all of you. Our displays have evolved every year in size and draw thousands of people annually to our home. We would like to thank you for making us a part of yours and your family’s holiday traditions!

As far as inspiration…well, that comes from 11 year old Tayler, 2 year old Colin and of course all of you.
As a family we really enjoy music and decorating for two of the three major last holidays of the year; Halloween and Christmas.

Our display is completely animated which includes “Santa’s Garage Band” featuring upbeat and contemporary Christmas music. Flashing and dancing lights chase, fade and twinkle during the show, all choreographed to the music compiling a 25 minute show that loops continuously.
Not only do the lights dance to the music, but it highlights Santa’s Garage Band which includes Santa himself, Rudolph, the elves, penguins, a snowman, two Christmas trees and several bears, who sing and play the music that the lights are choreographed to. They are housed behind a Plexiglas enclosure in the garage.
There are also several other focal points of animation besides the Garage Band including a mega-tree that dances with lights as well as several trees that change colors and a 5 foot Bethlehem star that twinkles in the night. But, perhaps arguably, the most spectacular portion are the lighted arches that greet visitors as they approach by giving the appearance of dancing water.
