 Our 2007 Christmas light show is dedicated to the memory of Aunt “Shooney”  (Sharon Jones) 8/19/46 - 5/21/07 who loved this season and the family time that comes with Christmas. She is deeply loved and missed!!!

   Whether this is your fist time visiting us on-line or if you’re returning, welcome and thank you for stopping by ‘thatholidayhouse.com’, the home of Christmas and Halloween at the Hodgson’s –This is the official site of the annual lighting displays of Jess, Jaime, Tayler and expected in January 2008 Baby Colin!  We are located in Firestone, Colorado.

     As you know, this is the season for sharing dreams and memories with friends and family. We have dedicated our display to the Fantasies, dreams and ideas of the Christmas season.

     For over 7 years now we have been sharing the magic of the holidays with all of you. Our displays have evolved every year in size and draw thousands of people annually to our home. We would like to thank you for making us a part of your’s and your family’s holiday traditions!

       As far as inspiration…well, that comes from 9 year old Tayler, soon to be born Colin and of course all of you.

       As a family we really enjoy music and decorating for two of the three major last holidays of the year; Halloween and Christmas.
 

     Our display is considered both animated and static. The animated portion includes flashing, dancing as well as chasing, fading and twinkling lights which are choreographed to music compiling a 23 minute show that loops continuously.
 

     There are several focal points of animation including a Blue Spruce tree that dances with lights as well as 36 chasing mini tree’s that greet visitors as they approach.

         Not only do the lights dance to the music in a choreographed show, but it highlights Santa’s Garage Band behind a plexi-glass enclosure in the garage. Rudolph hosts this years show and welcomes visitors.

         In addition to the animation, the static portion has a pathway that guides visitors through a North Pole carnival in the front yard with a working See-Saw, Swing and Ferris-Wheel.
 

         This year you’re in for a real treat! As in years past, we have again the Stars of the North Pole in a presentation we call “BELIEVE IN THE MAGIC” and this years show promises to be bigger and more cinematic than ever before with more headliners, lights and special effects.

         As you come up the drive way… Suddenly, the troubles and worries of today are left behind and you find yourself in a magical place!

         Turning our home into a holiday splendor with an explosion of lights is our passion. We hope you enjoy your stay on our website and would like to invite you to stop by and see our display for yourself.
