For many people the Holidays are a fun time of the year filled with family time and gift giving. But for some, the holidays means a time of difficulty when ends are hard to meet.
     We’re proud to be a part of the Tri-Town community which has so many generous people willing to help when and where they can. Our display inspires so many of you to be extremly generous and offers two ways you can help locally. We collect monetary donations for the Tri-Town Santa Cops Program and                    non-perishable foods for the Tri-Town Food Bank. Below is a brief description of both programs and their needs this holiday season.
     When you come to visit, please consider making a donation to one of these two charities. On the bottom of this page, we will keep an updated running tab of monetary and food donations collected. You can rest assured that 100% of your donations will go to their perspective charities.

                                                       Santa Cops Program:

     We are proud to be partnering up for the third year with police officers from the Firestone, Frederick, and Dacono Police Departments for the Tri-Town Santa Cops program.
 
     Santa Cops benefits children in the Carbon Valley area who, with out the program, would otherwise not receive toys or other needed gifts for Christmas this year.

     Last year, your generosity netted $110.00 to help the Santa Cops distribute gifts to over 500 Tri-Town children. That need is ever increasing each year and we need your help to do it again this year!
                                                                                                                                                                                                 Officers receive wish lists that are distributed to the schools early in November and then shop for gifts based on individual requests. Those gifts are distributed in late December.

     A lock box is located outside the display near Santa’s Garage Band where monetary donations are accepted. Please place your donation in an envelope provided under the lock box.
                                                                                                                                                                                                 Donations are brought in regularly and delivered to the officers of the Santa Cops Program at the end of the Christmas season. Because gifts are purchased late in November, donations from this year will go toward gifts for next year’s program.

     ***Note: Sorry but we do not have a way of providing receipts. If you would like a receipt for your donation, please make your contribution directly to either one of the three Tri-Town Police Departments.
     Also, donations of wrapping paper, gift tags, boxes, bows etc… need to
 Be contributed directly to any of the police departments directly. WE ARE ACCEPTING MONETARY DOANTIONS ONLY FOR SANTA COPS AT THIS SITE!
 

Tri-Town Food Bank:

       The Tri-Town Food Bank serves those that need them in Dacono, Frederick, Firestone and the immediate surrounding areas all year long. It should come as no real surprise that like any food bank across the state... or nation for that mater... they need donations throughout the year, but that need is even greater during the Holiday season. We feel that it’s our obligation to help provide a resource within our own community to help provide those less fortunate with food for themselves and their families.

   Thanks to all of you we collected over 50lbs of food for the Tri-Town Food Bank in 2008!!! Although extremely impressive, We hope to beat that record this year and we need your help to do it! 

       When you come to visit, please remember to bring a nonperishable food item with you to be donated . A drop box is located near Santa’s Garage Band and donations will be brought in nightly and dropped off regularly as the box fills up.
